Well,
I thought the customer service bit could've gone better, but I guess I don't
quite know what I was expecting when I tried it. Damn, it really was a lot
funnier in my head, of course, I was expecting some harassing calls and never
got them.

How do you explain a 269 listener drop whenever a live show goes on? And even if
defcon still has higher numbers than NHB, do you honestly think I care that

you shot yourself by saying that you are a defcon fan, but you listen to Sloan.

to any of the shows on this network, let alone another network's entirely. I
would have to assume that the shows on defcon are good since even though you
dump over 200 listeners, you keep quite a lot around, so they are either into it
or catatonic from shock and can't click the little X n the corner. And again,

| I love how every time someone wants to pump up War Games, they say it has higher numbers, as if the single deciding factor in the quality of a show is the number of people you can convince to listen to it. Oh, and by the way, we are not the number two network, we are the number one original comedy station on the net, we've been there for a long time. I find it amusing that we can still keep the number two slot in comedy against some of the most famous comedians in the world being played over everyone else's automation, and here's a hack from New Jersey that's just as entertaining. Stew on that before you call anyone else better than us, folks. And stop using numbers, how about citing talent, or maybe a funny moment, how can a comedy network be funny when all it does is make its fans angry and insecure? |

All they can brag about are numbers, but so can a calculator. Let's see. Has
Defcon achieved any of the following:
media recognition.
We have twice through a station of the month award a few years ago and also the
interview we did with Sin Magazine and Mel last month. Maybe Defcon has, I don't
know. I don't watch their every move like they do to us.
staff picnics. Do
those guys even know each other? I bet they couldn't put together a picnic with
a manual, let alone broadcast it.
Telethon. For 3
years and counting NHB has had very successful telethons and each year, the
amount of money the fans gives us goes up exponentially. Not to mention our
listener count for over 36 hours straight. Can Defcon pull that off? I recall
Mark begging for money and then when nobody was giving them any, chastising his
listeners for it. This was last year, if memory serves. Must suck to be so
popular, and have all this cost for bandwidth and the listeners not give a shit
because you haven't established any kind of rapport with
them.
I could say a 24
hour automation of their own shit, but they don't want to address that except to
say they're going to put up a stream with all original shit soon. Anybody want
to bet that it just runs old shows and no clips? Does it matter either way,
since we all know that the majority listen to defcon for the standup and not the
original content?
So, can anybody else
point out the NHB accomplishments defcon has not accomplished, yet? I mean, OH,
yeah. I forgot one.
Actually being

Uhm Damon, I know they get recognition from all sorts of things due to the fact that they interview famous people periodically. Also, I know they have had a staff picnic sort of, they call theirs the "DEFCON SUMMIT." I saw the video, brought a tear to my eye. As far as telethon shit, I don't follow up with all that. But they have always had a Donate button on the front of their site for as long as I can remember. Damon, you must know what the enemy is doing man...your spies don't keep you up on shit.
Also, whoever is talking shit on Jscary really needs to fucking stop it. I never talked to him personally, but I know he is a cool cat, so if you are reading this fucker, quit talking shit on Defcon staff. If there is any beef right now, its between us and the Reckless guys, and that's it. The rest of Defcon staff/ex-staff deserves no shit talk, that includes Jscary, Mark the DJ, George Carlin, Eddie Murphy, Doug Stanhope, Jim Florentine, etc. |

Sorry,
I have a life, oi. I can't keep up on everything. I ca barely keep up with what
is going on on NHB and I run the fucking place. I don't have, as I have said a
thousand times, any beef with defcon staff and even their listeners. I just love
to fuck with them and they take it seriously. I have some issues with the way
things went down last week, but in reality, I am not even mad at Reckless Radio.
They can talk all the shit about me that they want. I am
flattered.
