OK! Here it is! Mark and I had a long talk! Here is what it comes down to. Mark & Defcon DOES NOT have an issue with NHB or any of its members. On the flip side NHB DOES NOT have an issue with Defcon. Between the two networks there is no problem! We both agree the fan vs. fans issues neither of us have control over BUT we will not condone any staff, mgt, or fan ruining their shows, fucking up their bits, or doing anything destructive toward each others show or station. If this does take place we have exchanged numbers and will work with each other to get to the bottom of it.
Mark and I agree though that friendly competition is fine and we actually support it! So to show that, we are going to create a new forum called NHB Fans vs. Defcon Fans. Consider it our version of Fight Club. You all know “No ones talks about fight club” & “What happens in fight club stays in fight club.” These forums are not to be taken seriously no retaliation is to happen to a show or individual person. This is banter and tirades in jest and in support of our favorite shows on both stations.
Posts of this nature (Show vs Show) are ONLY permitted in this Forum! Posts in any other forums that are not topic related will be deleted and WILL lead us to follow our TOS so please keep fight club material in fight club forums!
Thank you all for your time on this matter and I look forward to seeing all the stupid Dick Measuring and Pissing Contests in the PROPER Forums!

Damon the reason most people don't like you is because your faulty attempts at insulting. Face it you don't treat people with respect and you get none for them. You are foolish to think you are the greatest, the grandfather, and number one. You have been doing this for 7 years now and I had heard only about 12 hours (not a one time) of content. Don't you think if you were funny and great you'd have more content? Sometimes you have to toss some stand up here and there to attract more listeners gaining a larger fan base. 12 hours of the same stuff and your current shows are the same as those. You need new material. |

even know me? No. So, shut up. This is one man's opinion. 172 listeners on a
Wednesday night live show say you are wrong. Do we need new material? Of course.
But I will not resort to standup to gain listeners. NHB will stand and fall by
its own self created content. If you don't like it, the door is that way. We are
the number 1 all original comedy network. If you don't think we're funny, the
door is that way. You don't have to like this station. You don't have to like
me. I am not going to lose sleep over you not liking me. You don't know me and
if you did, you'd see a drastically different picture. I will keep experimenting
and keep trying to come up with new stuff. NHB will stand and fall on its own
and we will not sponge off of stand up comedians to make our name. Again, this
is my opinion. Defcon has achieved great things and nobody can deny that. But
don't knock what I have done. I have busted my ass along with the shows, past
and present, and the staff, past and present to get here, through my own sweat
and blood. I am proud of what I have accomplished in 7 years due to all of the
network's hard work. And no matter what any of you defcon detractors say, you
can't take that away from any of us. I bet every piece of studio gear I own that
if you had not taken the high road and brought on stand up comedy for your
automation, you would not have a tenth of the success you've had, so count your
blessings, go back to your station and stick my sweaty socks in your mouth. The
facts are, boy, that we are not going away, defcon has not, and never will own
nhb in any kind of pissing contest, no matter what your staff or your listeners
may say and you are just going to have to deal with my annoying ass until I
decide when enough is enough. If that is not OK with you, the door is that way,
don't let it hit your brain on the way out.

| No I don't know you off the show. The picture you paint of yourself on your show is a bitter person that thinks the world is against you. Do I think you are a bad person? No I think you might actully be a fairly nice guy. I actully found it commendable on some of the things you said on the Bri thread. I'm not the nicest person but I do stand up on a few issues i.e the objectification of women, unneed physical violance, and anything someone does to wrong a child. But anybody does as well, some more than others. Now that the argument is winding down to something more civil I will part ways untill I have something nice to say. I hope your station has success in years to come. This way no one is banned, fighting stops, and people get along. |

I had to put my two cents in here. I took a quick scan of an emergency archive from 2005; keep in mind, this is over a year old. The automation clips taken from live shows alone totals over 65 hours, and this was a year ago. This does not include any parodies or produced segments. And this is just our best material. We have more content than we know what to do with over here; I wouldn't exactly call it lacking. If you've only heard 12 hours, you've only listened for 12 hours, nothing we can do about that. |

I like how people paint this picture of Damon based on what little Dave and the Other Guys know about Damon. I personally like how people tend to overlook radio altogether, realizing that we are all personalities. It's too bad GJerkoD that none of us will give you the time to really get to know us. LIke I said before I won't post anything rude. Oi and Angie you don't like me big deal I'm not on the net to make friends. I have enough friends off the net. Angie why are you mad at me? I have a feeling its because I pulled clips of what you said out of a show of a show thats no longer on this network? I didn't hear anyone else complain about what I pulled from them. The clips you are mad about are of you saying;
"STFU" and "Angie isnt rubing anything on you". Whats so wrong with that? I bet most people would actully be happy that they said something amusing enough to be pulled. |

| Come on people this is the same shit over and over. We need to move on from this Drama. Like the Milkman told me the NHB and Defcon needs to focus on bettering themselves not bashing each other. Comparing the NHB and Defcon is apples to oranges. RR is more of a Defcon show anyway. But all this arguing is just redundant non-sense. I have nothing against Damon, I don’t hate you or your show. In fact I’ll be downloading the podcast tomorrow. Shit I listen to Internet radio because TV and commercial radio fucking sucks. This we can all agree on. Listen to both stations regardless of what goes on. |

Well,
finally, something I can agree with. Despite the shit talking I do about defcon,
I think they've done remarkably well for themselves and while I don't agree with
their methods, you can't argue with their success. That doesn't mean I am going
to roll over and do nothing. I used to be number 1 on the shoutcast ratings and
I will be there again, where we belong. And despite what went down, I don't
really have anything against the reckless radio show and never did, it was a bit
that spun horribly out of control very quickly and due to lack of communication,
was taken way over what it should have been all along. I am more than capable of
taking my share of the blame for that. So, let's stop taking this so seriously,
and if the defcon hordes can't distinguish comedy shit talking from reality,
then that is their pill to swallow, not ours. I know where I stand. Now, let's
make this fun, like it was supposed to be all
along.
