Althroughout life, we're faced with hurdles along the way. Obstacles that make us question our lives, that make us weak and ask the question why. Losing someone dear to us is never an easy ordeal. More often than not, it makes us quake in our shoes, lose our bearings and wish we had done something different in our lives. As we start recovering in that empty seat and realize that somehow our seemingly dreary lives seem a bit darker, we recall memories that make us both smile and shed a tear. We relive the moments in our head as if they were yesterday, and for some brief time, the weight on our chest lightens and we take that long deep breath and roll up our sleeves, readying ourselves for tomorrow. I started listening to NHB since I started working abroad away from my wife and all that time, the hosts of the station seem unreachable, almost omnipotent in nature. Each time I tuned in, I experienced at how lucky they were because they were loved by so many regardless of the insignificant listener count they've nonchalantly checked from time to time. And with that love, they became more than mere men, more than mere voices on the internet. Then something happens and we see another side to them, a weaker side, far more human than they've ever been and we see them as they truly are, normal men and women bringing joy to others thru laughter who now have seem to have lost their smile. Life goes on ... Johnny boy, And despite your family's loss, we all look upon you to always be there when we ourselves are driven to our knees. At this moment, let us, the listeners be your collective shoulder to cry on as we help each other greet another day with hope that all the pain will pass and the smiles we've been so accustomed to seem a little bit easier to reach. Me and my wife offer our condolences to you and your family and to close this simple yet heart-felt message, may i offer you the words from one of my wife's published works to ponder and breathe in. "Paint it all. Not just the sunshine and the rainbows, but also the floods and the storms. Write it all. Not just about laughter and cheers, celebrations and victories, but also write about pains and tears, failures and fears. Because as the years go by and you go over your life, you will not want to miss out on anything. For even the faintest smile, even the smallest teardrop has made your life as it is." We love you Johnny, never give up your dreams of happiness. Carlos and Isabel |

| I thought perhaps the best way to honor your mother would be to compliment you. Your a sweetheart, your weekly show and happy-go-lucky personality has helped make my work day better. Thank you for making me smile. I know some of the listeners and hosts give you a hard time about your sound effects and your style of broadcasting, I personally love it and look forward to hearing your intro every week. Best wishes. Amber. |

I need to check my forums more often. Thank you very much for your kind words. I really do appreciate it. It is especially great to hear someone say they really enjoy my show and my style. My style is unique, and not all get it...but I know some do. Thank you all very much. |

I really enjoy listening to your show too Gators ;) - Unfortunately podcasts are down atm so I can't keep up with what going on with the beardies from Maine! Incidentally, I remember hearing Lurker is training to be an animator, correct? If so, I'm a proffessional by trade, so if she wants any advice on how to get along then drop me a message here. If you wanna see my latest film 'Mouks' pop to youtube and have a look, tell your friends! - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOCO0gWszjo p.s. It'll even work for the blinks on the network - the SFX are mental! peace, fbd |

Ha, yes, you're right. I'm going to school for character animation. I enjoyed your short, very cute in a sick way. =] Any advice is welcome, feel free to write to me at monorougi@yahoo.com. And, by the way, I've always enjoyed the show. But you knew that anyway. =D |
