I know your saying thats a really odd title, but I said it for a reason. I,like Damon, have been screwed over once again by the things we call women. Granted, my person did not fake a car accident, so it is nowhere near as bad as Damon's. However, considering the circumstances( since I am on the younger side(14), it is still bad for me. I shall begin my tale.
OK, around Christmas time of the past school year, I began talking to this girl named Kimi. I really didn't know her that well, even though we were at the same school for awhile. We started talking over Christmas break, and I find out she has a boyfriend, an 18 year old mexican. That should have been a red flag, but I said," Thats cool, were just friends anyway." So we talk some more, become better friends, to the point that we are as close as family. I considered this uhhhh person family.
So, May rolls around, and she can't bring her boyfriend to the Formal, and she really wants to go. Now, by this time I had really started to like her, and she knew this. I had told her. So, I was single, and didn't have a date, so I asked her. She said yes, and we continued to talk more now. I went out and spent about 100 on stuff that was only going to be worn once,on that night. So, we go and have what I consider to be the best night of my fucking life. We had fun then, then we went to someone else's house for a pool after-party, and had fun there. By this time, I am saying to myself "If, no when, she breaks up with her bf, go for it." So, last day of school rolls around. She tells me she is moving to Coppell. OK, that hurt, but I had her cell # and screen names, so we could keep in touch. School lets out. I call her on my cell phone. No answer. OK, thats fine. She might have left it off. So, I wait a couple of days, knowing the date she is moving, she might be tied up. So, I wait until I know she is settled in, and call her again. Nothing, sent to voice mail. So, now I thinking, this is getting odd. I sign onto AIM the next day, talking to a friend of mine and hers, and I find out, he talked to her this morning. Now I am suspicious. I use the other phones I used to call on. Voice mail. I use Skype, and I get through. However, it is not her that picked up It was some guy. He heard my voice, and hung up. So, I thought maybe she was out somewhere, and some guy had mistaken her phone for his. I sign onto Yahoo, and her SN is there. I must note, through various sources, that I knew she had broken up with her boyfriend. I knew that the next time I would talk to her, I would ask her out. I was talking to her on Yahoo, and she tells me, one day after breaking up with her ex, that she has another boyfriend. The thing is, this is the guy that she rejected to go to the Formal with, to go with me. She knew I wanted to go out with her, and she picks the guy she turned down earlier, and I get my numbers blocked from her cell phone. After this I am fairly hurt, and sign off, telling her I'll call her tommorow. I call, and I get voicemail. After I told her when I would call, and she didnt pick up. Once again, I talk to the same person, and he talked to her shortly after I called. Her birthday rolls around, and I wish her a happy birthday on Myspace. I get no response. However, on that same day, after I left my comment, she leaves a comment on another person who left one before me. Now I know she is ignoring me. So, I don't talk to her for awhile, because I had been busy. I sign onto AIM last night, and she her SN online. I im her, and get no respose. I sign onto Yahoo, which she uses more, and IM her. No response. I see she is online on myspace. I send her a comment, saying something to the effect of " I know you are ignoring me, and if you arent, IM me or something." I get nothing. However, I look the next day, she leaves a comment 20 minutes after I leave mine, on another person's Myspace. This is the final straw
So, let's review. This girl was considered family by me and her, and by the end of the summer, she wants nothing to do with me. I showed her one of the best nights of mine and her life, and I get rejected by the guy she turned down for the Formal. Finally, she refuses to answer my calls or comments or IMs, yet she will talk to all her other friends. I got fucked over by(as of yesterday) my former best friend. Damn that felt good to type. |

| Alright, let's analyze this one. She ignores you, then she ignores you, then she ignores you. You suspect that she's ignoring you at this point. She ignores you again, then she ignores you again, then you confront her, telling her that you know she's ignoring you, then she ignores you. THEN you get upset? I'd have dropped that girl back at ignore number two, or at least turned it around. It's not worth chasing the girl all over the world when she doesn't want anything to do with you. You know what the best backlash forbeing ignored is? Having fun with someone else. In effect, NOT NEEDING HER. When a girl doesn't need you, you have to not need her. And shame on you for messing around with a girl who's taken. That right there is just asking for trouble. Who's to say she wouldn't fall for someone else right under your nose? You would never be able to trust her. |

OK...
Not to belittle your situation but:
1. She was taken from the get go.
2. She's seeing an older guy (she's into older guys therefore it would seem)
3. She's moving away, you've not known her 'that' long to be honest.
4. She's ignored and ignored and ignored... (I see a pattern here, didn't you?)
5. You didn't really think some guy answered her phone by mistake did you? You can't honestly have thought that.
6. Read the signs, you are either VERY optimistic or a little naive or a combination of the two.
7. You are 14. Don't fret it.
8. All of the above...
A quick question... how old is she? If she's anywhere below 18 by even a day, I'm afraid the army can't touch her. Secondly, as a high ranking officer of the army, I'm afraid I certainly couldn't order my troops into an attack against a girl who, in my humble opinion, has done no more than drop you HEAVY hints all along...

| Damon'd = paving new ground in the realm of naivete by repeatedly putting yourself into a position to be heartbroken, stepped on, and pushed around. I am also of the school of thought that cockteasing should be outlawed, but the fact is, it's legal, so for the time being, we have to deal with it. |

| After reading this thread, I realize that it's just not Damon who is the target of these malicious crimes of neglect, but others such as Zane and that pothead guy named MR420. I just realized how depressing you all are. If I don't kill myself first from reading this post, I want you to all send me your addresses so I can come kill you instead...you know, because I love you guys...I just want to put you out of your misery. Kind of like what happened to OLD YELLER....that poor dog. |

| Pointed things...nice. Zane, again you are offended by something that really wasn't pointed at you. You just got lumped in with the other guy cuz yer post was below his. So calm down. Tell you what, why don't you go back to making potions or axes or whatever in WoW andyou will be all relaxed and back to your normal self in no time. :P |

WoW, huh? Look how you immediately jump to whatever you think will hurt people the most, then you tell me to stop being offended. Why don't you stop kicking people in the balls and try being a considerate being for five minutes, it could do you some good. Have you ever heard of the golden rule, or constructive criticism? Just because you thought it appropriate to mention WoW, I suppose I should mention that I've recently considered myself an addict and quit that game, as well as all my online games, because they're all I ever do and I've turned into a loser. I'm certainly not proud of the fact that when someone thinks of me, they think of these worthless fucking games. I'm glad you think it's funny to make a potshot at that, because that will never be me again. Oh well, it's the anarchy forum, I suppose you're allowed to pick at people's weak spots to get your jollies.
Edit: Nevermind me, I love you all, no matter how much you mess with me. Not your fault for trying to stir the pot, that's what they pay you for :) |

| When I think of Zane, I don't think of WoW, or worthless games like that. When I think of Zane, I think of DDR, Hot Damn, and The Residents. The Residents only because I was shocked someone else around here actually heard of them. |

When I think of Oi and when I think of Zane, I immediately think of great automation bits. Both of you have given so much to NHB in your contributions, so please stop bickering.
Oi loves to piss people off and drive his already over powered gross-sex drive to the extreme. There is nothing we can do about it. Honestly, I think the guy is quite funny, and I know there is a 'thing' between Zane and Oi evidently.
Lets just stay off each others backs, and try to stick to the topic of posts...

If you're implying that Oi's right, he can have his philosophies. I haven't touched my games in a week and I haven't felt better! Course, that's probably reverse psychology. Thanks Oi! Gonna go chase more women, this is fun...
