I've been running wireless for about two months now, with dual Shure ULXS14 systems. We also have two other guitars running wireless, one with the ULXP14, and one with a lower grade UHF variant, as well as a Shure wireless handheld mic, and at the house, we've yet to have a frequency conflict. I definitely recommend a UHF transmitter to anyone trying to take wireless to the stage. However, if you are planning to be on the road a lot, DON'T make the mistake I did with the ULXS14, go straight to the ULXP, because it has automatic frequency selection; that way you don't have to carry around a hand radio searching for empty frequencies at a crowded inner city festival :)

But that's the advice, now for the questions. I'm curious if anyone has gone with a higher-grade 9 volt battery for any musical equipment, especially wireless. I've heard that running 9.6 volts can increase the signal and performance, as well as the voltage dropoff time. I'm switching to 9.6v Maha rechargables from your basic Energizers, so we'll see how that works out. Anyone try anything different for that?
