Keep Stickam, it is part of the fun for some of us listeners. I used to listen to the shows on stream but since coming to Stickam and listen to shows with little to no lag and being able to write in when a topic is still being discussed, it makes the interaction that much better as a listener.
I do realize that every outlet NHB offers is just one more door opened to some fag to fuck around with a show, but as long as there are MOD's in Stickam willing to sweep the douche bags under the rug and keep the show going without making new and future listeners afraid to open there mouths, then Stickam works.

fuck stickam, it is a resource hog, and when I am in there I tend to get distracted by it. and who the fuck wants to see all of you people anyway!? some of these listeners are weird enough when it is only audio, but visual is something that I just dont need! and the listeners we get from stickam are even more retarded than the regular nhb listeners!

| The biggest push was to put the chat back into the REAL chat room, because it stops the tools from flooding automatically, it can automatically mod people, IE Damon can't use the web interface to mod people on his own. Guest video's were in limbo, but disabling them would be no more fuckers coming in with loud sound clips or spamming in general. |

I say use the stream,
IRC for the chatroom
use the IM's.
The old days of NHB. I mean, why did we have to jump to something new, its ok to create an account for the fun on your time..
For NHB go back to old school... it was better, funnier and brings in the listeners.
To the ones who are new to stickam, they will have no clue what is going on. many might thing what is IRC...
The screen names people had was historically funny
other then watching vamp mix or andrew doing his poker days like he did before... that is perfectly fine |

Long time listener here..... I say FUCK STICKAM! We had a good chat with IRC and we dont need video. All we need is the streams and IRC and IM's. Why do we need more???? Its pointless. We get to watch people talk into a mic! Yeah, face for radio alright! This isn't radio with stickam... it's TV! NHB isn't a TV Network. It's a RADIO Network.
Let's go back to the old school and just listen to the damn stream! |

Understood, but when that show is part of a network there are some things that ought to be consistent across the whole network - like how the shows are presented to the listener.
I vote for a page contained within this website, which has the live show's video feed from Stickam and nothing else (from Stickam, that is), with the IRC chatroom at the bottom,and maybe links to the streams, for when Stickam borks.

Edit: As i understand it, the Stickam chat can't be used by visually impaired users. That seems to go dead against some of the core values that NHB stands for, and is more than enough reason for swapping for the IRC room instead. |

i think we'll lose alot of generic listeners if we drop stickam.
if there was a more "stickam" like chatroom with customizable fonts, it would be easier to follow. for me anyway.
on the plus side, if you kill of the stickam chat and cams, your going to get more callers on place of right ins. also, you wont get the whimpy spammers and fuckers. you'll get the ballsier ones who call in to have there various holes ripped open. so it could be very positive. |

| Well, I believe the stickam has become important to our listeners. I have to agree with Emilie's logic here on the attention whores...however I do know that we all need to be using the same items so that the listeners can adjust and know what to expect from all the shows. For listeners I think this is their stability...for lack of a better word. |
